Fleishhacker Carousel William Dentzel Carving Company circa 1922 This wooden carousel now located in the children's playground area of Fleishhacker Zoo came to its present location in 1925 from the defunct Pacific City Amusement Park. According to the best records available, it was carved in 1924-22 by the William Dentzel Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
