The limited edition Tobin Fraley carousel collectors plate called "Riding to Adventure" from a series called "Tobin Fraley Carousel Collection" released in 1993 as part of the Hallmark Galleries Collections. This series was only available in a limited number of Hallmark stores which were called Galleries Stores.
This plate is 8½" in diameter.
Items from this series have been hard to find since the last items in this collection were produced and released in 1994. The plate (QHG0030) was limited to an edition size of 9500 and retailed for $35.00.

The western horse in this painting is based on an expressive, galloping
horse carved at Charles Looff's carousel company in about 1915.
