Vi Hunter
During the late 1970's and early 1980's Vi Hunter of Ohio designed some wonderful art glass pieces.
She first introduced the collecting public to her now famous Jenny Doll. With a simplistic style reminiscent of Amish dolls Vi Hunter commission glassmaker Tom Mosser of Mosser Glass to produce the pieces for her.
In 1985 Hunter's highly detailed Carousel Horse was introduced as Series 1 and Series 2 pieces. All of the series one pieces were frosted and all of the series 2 pieces were carnival.
Vi Hunter died on October 30, 2004 at the age of 72.
