Ben Cordsen
Pewter Carousel Horses
This is a set of six carousel horses carved by Ben Cordsen
in the late 1980s and cast in pewter in the early 1990s.
Ben Cordsen was born and raised in Northern Colorado at the foot of the Rockies
where he works out of his studio and casting foundry devoted to fine pewter sculptures.
His sculptures have been commissioned and designed for many corporations and organizations,
including former presidents Reagan, Ford and Carter, several universities across the country,
and wildlife conservation groups including Ducks Unlimited.
His art is also found in many private collections today and is on display at WestPoint
and Annapolis.
Ben's attention to detail and form results in a sculpture that “tells a story”
while bringing a smile to the faces of collectors of his unique works of art.
