This lovely bisque china carousel horse and rider rotate on the
gold carousel pole as the music box plays.
The music box is enclosed in a substantial hardwood base in a light birch color.
Embedded in the wood base is a brass plate that reads, "Breckenridge Designs."
The horse is beautifully detailed and bedecked with lavish ribbons, roses, and gold trim.
The rich color palette includes light brown, sienna, medium brown, ochre,
green, turquoise, lavender, pink, and blue.
The horse is white with gold hooves and has a little brass chain for its reins.
Everything has been carefully hand painted.
The little blonde girl rider wears a lavender summer hat and holds a tiny brown teddy bear.
This piece stands 9½" tall and is about 6½" wide. The base measures 6½" wide by 4" deep. There are four sturdy little rubber legs on the bottom, and the wood base is finely finished and very smooth.
